Brenda: Who? Thank God Dylan was nice enough to bring me home.

Brenda: I’m gonna get some food.
Dylan: So did you have a good time at the chancellor’s?
Kelly: It was great. So is this why you’re so anxious for me to move out?
Dylan: Yeah, right.
Kelly: Why don’t you get some food. I’m sure you’re hungry from your long ride.
Dylan: I’ll tell you what, Bran, if you ever feel the need to borrow her again, feel free.

Kelly: Congratulations. You got a callback.
Brenda: Yeah, I saw your name up there too. What a surprise. I mean, all last week, when I was helping you find the nerve to audition, remember? You told me you were going for the part of Mae.
Kelly: I was, but then Roy Randolph asked me to read for Maggie.
Brenda: And I suppose he ask you out for coffee after the audition too?
Kelly: Yeah, he did. And everybody else who was still stuck there.
Brenda: Well, if Roy Randolph forced you into it, why didn’t you tell me?
Kelly: Honestly, I was afraid of how you would react.
Brenda: Stab me in the back, I bleed.
Kelly: What do you expect me to do, Brenda, drop out? Make more room for you?
Brenda: Kelly, it’s not your part.
Kelly: What makes you think you own it?
Brenda: Why don’t you get a life of your own and stop trying to steal mine?
